About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Secure and operate cloud and Kubernetes environments supporting Chainalysis products and Hosted AI Platform (HAIP)
Troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads and cloud services, including pod health, logs, errors, latency, and upstream provider issues
Ship reviewed Terraform and Kubernetes changes to improve HAIP and broader cloud infrastructure security and reliability
Improve AWS and edge/network controls, including IAM, networking, secrets, encryption, logging, and Cloudflare
Reduce recurring misconfigurations through reusable patterns and runbooks
Use Python or similar scripting and monitoring improvements to automate operational work
Participate in the AI Product on-call rotation
Triage production alerts, communicate clearly, and escalate when needed
Collaborate with Infrastructure Security, Platform Engineering, AI Core, and other engineering partners to address risks at their source
Drive security and infrastructure fixes through completion

Requirements

What you’ll need

Production cloud infrastructure experience, preferably in AWS
Working knowledge of security controls such as IAM, networking, secrets, encryption, or logging
Hands-on production Kubernetes experience, including inspecting workloads, reading logs, and troubleshooting failures using command-line tools
Experience authoring Terraform changes reviewed and deployed to production
Comfort shipping changes through Git and pull requests
Production on-call or incident-response experience
Alert investigation, clear communication, and sound escalation judgment
Python or similar scripting ability
Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools
Experience collaborating with stakeholders across the R&D organization
Experience operating AI/ML infrastructure, LLM platforms, or services integrating with model providers (nice to have)
Familiarity with AI gateway concepts such as model routing or quotas (nice to have)
Experience with Cloudflare or other edge/network security controls (nice to have)
Exposure to Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or Orca (nice to have)
Experience with Argo CD or Flux (nice to have)
Familiarity with blockchain, crypto, fintech, or regtech infrastructure (nice to have)
Legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without restrictions
