About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts for the High End Fashion Division's brands and stores
  • Collect, consolidate and check budget input from retail and merchandising teams
  • Help maintain budget templates and track submission deadlines
  • Assist with monthly management reports, including sales, gross margin and operating expenses
  • Analyze actuals against budget and prior year, and help explain key variances
  • Support month-end closing tasks, including accruals, reconciliations and journal preparation
  • Assist the finance team with data gathering and analysis for ongoing projects
  • Help prepare supporting schedules and presentations as requested by the team
  • Maintain organised files and records to support team projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
  • 0–1 year of experience; an internship in finance, audit or retail is a plus
  • Progress towards professional qualifications (ACCA, CMA, CPA or similar) is an advantage
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups and basic formulas
  • Good grasp of accounting principles and financial statements
  • Familiarity with an ERP system (e.g. SAP) is a plus
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
  • Organized and able to manage deadlines during busy periods such as budget season
  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude
