About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide information and support to aspiring entrepreneurs setting up or taking over a business
  • Support the preparation of market research
  • Assist with the development of financial forecasts and the selection of the appropriate legal, tax and social security status
  • Provide support with commercial strategy and business development
  • Analyze the company’s accounting and financial information
  • Connect clients with stakeholders in the local business ecosystem
  • Assist with preparing applications for financial assistance and bank loans, and monitor their progress
  • Lead training sessions, information meetings, workshops and webinars
  • Update materials to reflect legislative and economic changes
  • Participate in events related to the relevant topics
  • Advise and support business owners when launching and developing their activities
  • Conduct the assessments required to support the development of craft businesses and identify their needs
  • Inform business owners about business management topics and refer them to specialist services
  • Promote and market the CMA’s service offering
  • Present the CMA’s business creation and comprehensive service offerings
  • Contribute to customer relationship management, with a focus on upselling and customer retention

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum three years of higher education) in business management
  • Knowledge of the business environment, including legal, tax, social security and commercial matters
  • Knowledge of support schemes for business creation and takeover, as well as local economic stakeholders
  • Awareness of local economic development
  • Previous experience in business assessments, individual or group business support, and organizing meetings is preferred
  • Proficiency in office software, including spreadsheets, databases and word processing applications
  • Self-motivated, collaborative and adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills, administrative rigor, confidence speaking in public and the ability to document work effectively
  • Valid Category B driving licence
