About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide information and support to aspiring entrepreneurs in starting or taking over a business
  • Support the completion of market research
  • Assist with preparing financial forecasts and selecting the appropriate legal, tax and social security structure
  • Provide support with commercial strategy and business development
  • Analyze the company’s accounting and financial information
  • Connect clients with stakeholders in the local business ecosystem
  • Assist with preparing and monitor applications for financial aid and bank loans
  • Deliver training sessions, information meetings, workshops and webinars
  • Update materials in line with legal and economic developments
  • Participate in events related to the relevant business topics
  • Advise and support business owners during the launch and development of their activities
  • Conduct the assessments required for the development of craft businesses and identify their needs
  • Advise business owners on management topics and refer them to specialist services when necessary
  • Promote and sell the CMA’s service offering
  • Contribute to customer relationship management, upselling and customer retention

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (at least three years of higher education) in business management
  • Knowledge of the business environment, including legal, tax, social security and commercial matters
  • Knowledge of support schemes for starting or taking over a business, as well as the territory’s economic stakeholders
  • Awareness of local development issues
  • Previous experience in business diagnostics, one-to-one or group business support, and organizing meetings is preferred
  • Proficiency in office software, including spreadsheets, databases and word processing tools
  • Self-motivated and independent, with a strong team spirit, excellent interpersonal skills, administrative rigor, adaptability, confidence speaking in public and the ability to document work effectively
  • Category B driving licence
