About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and monitor the budget, including consolidation, forecasting, variance analysis, and corrective actions
  • Analyze financial statements, including consolidation and cut-off monitoring
  • Prepare and present statutory budgetary and financial reports in collaboration with the Accounting Officer
  • Develop and monitor dashboards, track key performance indicators, and issue alerts and recommendations
  • Maintain and monitor management accounting records
  • Support departments and services with financial analysis, cost calculations, studies, reviews, and the optimization of management processes
  • Implement internal controls and ensure the reliability of accounting and financial information
  • Participate in cross-functional projects
  • Provide services on behalf of the Landes and Pyrénées-Atlantiques Chambers of Agriculture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Required qualification: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Management Control or Finance
  • Knowledge of public-sector accounting and budgetary rules (GBCP) would be an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of budget preparation, monitoring, and financial analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as CEGID and with data processing
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
  • Meticulous, well-organized, and skilled in planning
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Valid driving license (Category B)
  • Travel required
