About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the technical lead for high-impact enterprise search solution deployments
- Design secure, scalable solutions incorporating custom data pipelines and generative AI assistants
- Define the integration strategy across multiple enterprise systems and business units
- Lead enterprise-wide workshops and technical roadmap planning
- Customize and extend the Sinequa platform
- Develop connectors, REST API interfaces, and workflow automations
- Optimize ingestion pipelines, relevance ranking, and contextual search experiences
- Configure vector search systems, RAG workflows, and prompt engineering frameworks
- Guide clients in developing long-term success plans and identifying advanced use cases
- Present to technical stakeholders and executive leadership
- Deliver advanced training, enablement sessions, and architecture reviews
- Mentor other engineers, provide technical guidance, and conduct code reviews
- Collaborate with pre-sales, product, and engineering teams
- Develop reusable code modules and documentation for internal and client use
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline, such as computer science, engineering, or a related field
- Experience implementing enterprise search platforms
- 8+ years of experience in technical consulting, professional services, or a customer-facing engineering role
- Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, Java, or C#
- Advanced frontend development expertise with Angular, TypeScript, or React
- Extensive experience with REST APIs, identity management, and enterprise-grade security mechanisms
- Demonstrated ability to lead phased deployments and multidisciplinary client teams
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud infrastructure tools
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with executive-level stakeholders
- Preferred: experience with LLMs, RAG, embedding generation, and relevance optimization
- Preferred: knowledge of knowledge graphs or ontology-based search systems
- Preferred: experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Preferred: knowledge of enterprise compliance and data governance
- Candidates must be authorized to work permanently and continuously in the United States or Canada without current or future employer sponsorship
