About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, and support enterprise networks for clients
Lead network projects from design through cutover
Resolve escalated tickets for managed services and Juniper partner support customers
Support and deliver on client networks
Produce high-level and low-level designs, migration plans, and test procedures
Configure and troubleshoot routing and switching, including BGP and OSPF, across multi-vendor environments
Deploy and manage multi-vendor firewalls, site-to-site and remote access VPNs, and segmentation
Deploy SASE/SSE and NAC solutions
Deploy and support enterprise wireless, both on-premises and cloud-managed
Lead network refreshes, hardware swaps, and vendor migrations through cutover
Resolve escalated tickets within SLA, including vendor TAC cases and RMAs
Use Python and Ansible scripting and automation to standardize configurations
Produce and maintain MOPs, as-built documentation, and client runbooks
Act as technical lead with clients, carriers, and vendors
Mentor Solution Specialists and support pre-sales scoping

Requirements

What you’ll need

Diploma or degree in Network/Computer Systems or a related field
JNCIP-ENT and/or JNCIP-SP certification is required
7+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering, including design and lead roles
Proven delivery of network refresh or migration projects
Experience resolving support tickets against SLAs, ideally at a VAR or MSP
Advanced Juniper experience (Junos, Mist)
Working knowledge of Cisco
Experience with Extreme, Aruba, or Meraki is an asset
Experience in two or more of: SASE/SSE, NAC, firewalls, or web security
Strong documentation and communication skills
Comfort switching between project work and reactive troubleshooting, including after hours
Valid Driver's License
Must be able to clear a Criminal Record Check upon request
Overtime as required
On-call as required
Minimal travel - less than 10%
