About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop creative concepts, campaign themes and visual design solutions for CW Retail brands
  • Design and produce creative artwork for catalogues, print publications, digital communications, marketing collateral and campaign activations
  • Adapt creative concepts across multiple formats, channels, brands and campaign requirements
  • Prepare finished artwork and press-ready files for print and digital production
  • Explore design solutions using photography, imagery, typography, colour, layout and other visual communication techniques
  • Work with the Creative Manager, Head of Design and Marketing stakeholders to develop and refine concepts
  • Liaise with Marketing and internal stakeholders to clarify briefs, understand campaign objectives and obtain feedback
  • Ensure creative work complies with brand guidelines, campaign requirements and approved design direction
  • Produce accurate, high-quality design work within agreed timeframes
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Build and maintain relationships with Marketing, stakeholders, suppliers and other departments
  • Maintain current knowledge of design trends, creative practices, visual communication and relevant design software

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven graphic design experience
  • Strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Solid understanding of typography, layout, colour, imagery and visual communication
  • Strong eye for brand and detail
  • Ability to adapt creative concepts across different formats and channels while maintaining brand consistency and quality
  • Organised and solutions-focused approach
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to troubleshoot creative or production challenges
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting ideas, embracing feedback, taking initiative and adapting to changing priorities
