About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain new and existing features across the core engine and other team products
Lead the design, build, and maintenance of scalable, production-ready systems
Take end-to-end ownership of features, from database architecture and high-performance backend microservices to frontend applications
Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to define product specifications
Translate product specifications into high-quality technical solutions
Promote best practices in testing, performance, and security
Participate in the on-call rotation
Support production issue investigations and validations
Influence product direction and solve complex technical challenges
Work with microservices on Kubernetes in AWS and technologies including NodeJS, TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL, MySQL, ClickHouse, Redis, Grafana, and GitLab CI/CD

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, BA or BSc from a recognized university — required
7+ years of experience with NodeJS and TypeScript
Advanced knowledge of NodeJS and TypeScript
Fullstack capabilities in React or Vue are an advantage
Foundational understanding of cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, including SQL, ClickHouse, Snowflake, MongoDB, Couchbase, DocumentDB, or DynamoDB
Ability to learn complex concepts quickly and independently
Consistently applying an AI-first approach to problem-solving throughout the last 2 years of work experience
Experience leveraging modern AI tooling across the software development lifecycle, including prototyping, architecture design, automated unit test generation, and debugging
Passion for technology, results-driven approach, proactivity, and commitment to high-quality work
Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills
