About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of SAP EAM solutions
  • Develop and oversee technical roadmaps and solution architectures for SAP EAM initiatives
  • Collaborate with functional leads, business stakeholders, and IT stakeholders
  • Supervise, mentor, and train junior team members
  • Resolve complex production support issues and analyze release notes for client engagements
  • Lead project planning, budgeting, and execution for EAM implementations and enhancements
  • Lead solution design and technical workshops
  • Configure and integrate linear asset management (LAM)
  • Integrate SAP EAM with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Integrate SAP EAM with SAP for Utilities (IS-U)
  • Integrate EAM with SAP SCM, MM, and FI/CO
  • Support technical requirements for regulatory compliance reporting
  • Manage asset master data governance and lifecycle traceability
  • Manage work lifecycle, scheduling/dispatch, mobile work execution, and construction
  • Manage external contractors and internal employees
  • Manage maintenance planning, testing, and inspections
  • Manage spatial data synchronization and alignment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in SAP EAM/PM/CS
  • At least 2 full lifecycle implementations
  • Regular Driver’s License
  • Strong technical and functional expertise in SAP EAM, especially Plant Maintenance (PM) and Customer Service (CS)
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA EAM
  • Strong functional and technical expertise in SAP EPPM suite, including Project System (PS) and Project and Portfolio Management (PPM)
  • Technical skill in configuring EPPM for project scheduling and resource management for asset construction and repairs
  • Experience integrating EPPM with EAM processes and SAP FI/CO for financial tracking and reporting
  • Deep understanding of asset lifecycles, from planning and procurement to maintenance and disposal
  • SAP EAM certification preferred
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach certifications are a plus
  • Deep knowledge of the full lifecycle of utility assets is a plus
  • Must reside in TX, IL, NJ, OH, DE, MD, PA, VA, NC, GA, or FL
