About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive end-to-end planning and performance of assigned rare disease brands
  • Balance revenue delivery with patient supply continuity
  • Act as key interface between Supply Chain and Commercial teams
  • Develop and maintain global supply plans aligned to commercial forecasts
  • Translate demand signals into executable supply plans
  • Partner with Brand Managers on demand assumptions, launch readiness, and growth scenarios
  • Identify and proactively manage stock-out, constraint, and delay risks
  • Coordinate with Supply Execution, Manufacturing, and Logistics to ensure plan feasibility
  • Support scenario planning and evaluate trade-offs prioritizing patient impact
  • Monitor service level, inventory, and revenue-at-risk KPIs
  • Support IBP / S&OP processes with patient and financial implications
  • Collaborate with BU Business Managers and Affiliates to align patient needs and market demand
  • Support translation of global supply plans into reliable local execution
  • Communicate supply risks and patient/revenue impact
  • Partner with commercial teams on prioritization decisions under constraints

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field
  • 5–10 years pharma/biotech supply chain experience
  • Fluent English
  • Experience in planning processes (IBP / S&OP)
  • Exposure to global supply chains and CMO environments
  • Experience working with Commercial / Brand teams is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with planning tools such as SAP IBP, OMP, Kinaxis
  • Strong business and patient-centric mindset
  • Ability to balance patient needs with commercial and financial objectives
  • Effective stakeholder management across Commercial and Operations
  • Analytical and structured problem-solving approach
  • Ability to operate in matrix and cross-functional environments
  • High accountability in critical, patient-impacting situations
