About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), preference assessments, and skills assessments
- Review and analyze session data and adjust programming to support measurable client progress
- Maintain a caseload consistent with salary-level billing expectations
- Deliver direct therapy services as part of billable hours when appropriate
- Supervise Program Managers and master’s-level students, providing feedback, training, and clinical oversight
- Mentor new BCBAs with less than 1 year of certification when holding 5+ years of certification
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, school teams, and other service providers
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities
- Complete progress reports, session notes, and clinical documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain billing records through CentralReach and ensure billed and collected hours accurately reflect services rendered
- Uphold BACB ethical guidelines and CCBS clinical standards
- Participate in audit readiness and maintain documentation suitable for internal or external review
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential in good standing with the BACB
- Experience providing ABA services to children and adolescents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write clear, clinician-quality reports and communicate effectively with families
- Proficiency with or ability to learn CentralReach for session data and billing
- Commitment to ethical practice, data-driven decision making, and ongoing professional development
- Experience working within the CCS/Catalight Care Services framework preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred for many service regions
- 5+ years of BCBA certification for Senior, Lead, or Principal level consideration
- Interest in the Assistant Mentor leadership track preferred
