About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own purchase order processing from start to finish
- Resolve price discrepancies regarding non-contract products
- Ensure correct pricing is loaded into the ERP system
- Obtain products, equipment, and services at the right time, price, and quantity for the appropriate departments
- Source and secure substitute products during product or market shortages
- Create awareness of and act on product-specific availability concerns
- Resolve procurement-related orders, including GHX interface issues and match exceptions
- Manage open order reporting
- Provide a high level of customer service
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years of purchasing experience, preferably in health care
- Business or hospital supply chain experience desirable
- Must be a Minnesota or Wisconsin resident
- Successful completion of an occupational health assessment
- Successful completion of a drug screen
- Successful completion of a background investigation
- Compliance with the U.S. Government Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification
