About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan lessons in advance and send plans via email to the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator
- Prepare and organize materials for classes
- Fulfill objectives in the general plans distributed at the beginning of the year
- Maintain the grade book and enter grades by evaluation-period and semester deadlines
- Design and prepare monthly assessments for each topic
- Grade assigned work
- Maintain classroom displays with lesson, activity, and holiday materials
- Perform playground supervision duties
- Collaborate with the Psychology Department, Academic Coordinator, and psychologist to support students with academic, behavioral, special learning, and socio-emotional needs
- Attend meetings, institutional workshops, parent meetings, and special school activities
- Act as a mediator between students and refer emotional, personal, family, or conflict-related issues to the psychologist
- Organize community service, fundraising, fairs, and other student activities
- Contact parents or guardians for meetings and special events
- Record daily attendance in the system or submit forms to Academic Support
- Collect subject-specific assignments for portfolio organization
- Assign students to record homework and monitor the Homework Board every two weeks
- Encourage student participation in subcommittees and promote communication with students and parents
- Encourage parents or guardians to attend ISP CBNH and PTA meetings
- Perform other duties related to the position
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related fields
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Proficiency in digital tools
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills
- Advanced English; must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing
- Minimum 2 years in education
- Subject to vetting procedures, including an online due diligence search, references, and satisfactory Criminal Background Checks or equivalent covering the previous 10 years’ employment history
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Ability to comply with institutional policies, proper uniform requirements, and established work schedule
