About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the Legal team and ensure the smooth execution of tasks within the department
Actively contribute to new projects and develop new processes
Advise managers on all legal matters
Advise the company on compliance, legal, and data protection matters
Serve as the first point of contact for employees and management on legal questions
Monitor developments in case law and legislation and develop appropriate solutions
Conduct contract negotiations
Collaborate with and manage external advisors, including law firms and government authorities
Support all teams at Chrono24, from developing new business models to implementing ongoing projects
Ensure legal protection from the outset
Report to the Head of Legal

Requirements

What you’ll need

Two completed German State Examinations in Law or an equivalent qualification
Several years of experience as a commercially oriented, generalist in-house legal counsel
In-depth knowledge of corporate law and/or IT law
Ideally, experience in a technology or e-commerce company
Sound risk awareness and strong interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills and a personable manner
A strong commitment to precision and quality
Experience using AI tools in the legal field
Experience establishing structures, skills, or workflows for the productive use of AI in a legal department
Strong teamwork, organizational thinking, and the ability to work independently
Ability to explain complex matters clearly and concisely
Excellent English skills
