About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify manual, repetitive or inefficient processes suited to automation or AI
  • Design, build and maintain automations and integrations using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio)
  • Develop and support AI-enabled workflows and AI agents
  • Build integrations across business systems using APIs, connectors and scripting
  • Prototype, test and validate solutions before moving them into production
  • Document, test and maintain implemented automations and AI solutions
  • Monitor deployed solutions for performance, cost and reliability, escalating issues as required
  • Apply responsible AI practices in line with Chrysos's AI governance framework
  • Evaluate emerging automation and AI platforms and contribute to future adoption
  • Work with teams across the business to turn pain points into workable technical solutions
  • Explain solution options and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering on integration, security and deployment
  • Contribute to AI Guild initiatives, including use case intake, governance and knowledge sharing
  • Provide basic training and ongoing support to end users

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a technical role involving automation, scripting, integrations or software development
  • Practical, hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) or a similar low-code automation tool
  • Working knowledge of APIs and system integration concepts
  • Basic to intermediate scripting/programming ability (e.g. Python, JavaScript, PowerShell or C#)
  • An analytical, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine interest in solving business problems through technology
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to document and maintain solutions for long-term supportability
  • Exposure to AI/LLM tools, prompt engineering or building AI agents (e.g. Copilot Studio, OpenAI or Anthropic)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Azure administration fundamentals
  • Awareness of, or interest in, emerging AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore or Azure AI Foundry
  • Experience working with structured or unstructured data, including basic reporting or data extraction
