About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Gain knowledge of agronomy skills including scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed, custom application procedures, mixing procedures, truck driving, and product delivery
  • Perform all agronomy and seed operations
  • Monitor and maintain inventory quality
  • Regulate and perform periodic housekeeping processes and record keeping
  • Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for agronomy equipment, including legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, and trucks
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed
  • Maintain an environment compliant with state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in Ag Business, Crop Science, or another agriculture-related degree program
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Software
  • Agriculture experience or background knowledge helpful
  • Previous internship experience helpful, but not required
