About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop understanding of the contract creation process and governing trading roles
  • Execute contractual terms and documentation requirements for shipments in a timely manner
  • Issue and review document instructions and coordinate documentation flow for contract execution
  • Build relationships with other CHS offices to support successful contract execution between inter-company offices and profit centers
  • Collaborate with merchandisers, logistics, and accounting teams to ensure accurate and consistent contract setup
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow safety policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions
  • Verify customer contracts throughout the global market, with emphasis on a specific region, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Produce timely and accurate customer invoices to support prompt payment
  • Maintain accurate profit/loss, terms of trade, and market position
  • Comply with government regulations and advise customers of applicable rules
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Transportation and Logistics
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding and use of compliance tools and regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field preferred
