About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a hands-on supervisor overseeing all daily operations
  • Perform facility operations and provide general work direction as needed
  • Supervise facility maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance
  • Maintain proper record-keeping logs
  • Oversee and manage inventories
  • Train employees on job duties, safety, equipment requirements, and quality control
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to safety and equipment-maintenance programs
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture
  • Follow safety policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations
  • Understanding of basic business principles of inventory management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead team members
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed to meet business needs
  • Ability to stand, sit, twist, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Previous agriculture experience preferred
  • Selected candidates may be required to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle, physical requirements, and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks
