About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of commodities handled at the location and comply with company policies and government regulations
  • Create fertilizer and soil sampler maps
  • Assist in the seed warehouse
  • Work with customers courteously and professionally
  • Control and monitor all load-out functions
  • Monitor and maintain inventory quality for blended, bulk or packaged products
  • Maintain clean, orderly and safe work areas, including sweeping, shoveling, power washing, scraping and spill cleanup
  • Complete appropriate record keeping
  • Perform warehouse work, including operating loaders and forklifts, loading and unloading inventory, and general maintenance
  • Report customer complaints, repair or maintenance needs, and safety concerns to the supervisor
  • Promote a strong safety culture, identify workplace hazards and correct or report unsafe conditions
  • Perform other duties as needed to ensure smooth facility operations and excellent customer service

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must meet minimum age requirement
  • 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
  • Must comply with company policies, procedures and safety requirements
  • Selected candidates may be required to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks
