About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee daily operations at the Missoula retail location and agronomy facilities in Stevensville and Drummond, Montana
  • Provide hands-on facility operations and general work direction
  • Schedule production according to plant requirements, sequencing, clean-out procedures, orders, and inventories
  • Supervise plant maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and recordkeeping
  • Manage ingredient and finished-product inventories
  • Enforce safety rules and company and government regulations
  • Supervise team-member training on job duties, safety, equipment, and quality control
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to safety and equipment-maintenance programs
  • Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or escalate unsafe conditions
  • Coordinate logistics and trucking
  • Lead full-time and seasonal employees
  • Travel regularly between operating sites
  • Perform other assigned responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations
  • Understanding of basic business principles of inventory management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead team members
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed to meet business needs
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to stand, sit, twist, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs
  • Selected candidates may be required to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle, physical requirements, and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks
