About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned suppliers, tollers, and manufacturers
  • Coordinate routine communications, updates, and issue resolution
  • Prepare and route purchase orders and related ERP actions
  • Track order confirmations, lead times, shipment timing, and delivery status; escalate risks
  • Track supplier programs and rebate opportunities
  • Coordinate raw material, ingredient, packaging, and production readiness
  • Partner with third-party manufacturing and packaging partners to ensure steady supply and on-time production
  • Consolidate supply needs for forecasting and highlight gaps or timing risks
  • Own logistics scheduling, including load scheduling and dispatching-style coordination
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound movement of raw materials and finished goods
  • Coordinate shipment timing and handoffs for direct loads and warehouse fulfillment
  • Submit and process Focus Product and raw-material orders in D365 and schedule logistics
  • Support new SKU approval and add SKUs in D365 where applicable
  • Support ERP invoice receiving, validation, and handoffs
  • Monitor inventory levels, open orders, and projected needs
  • Maintain exception logs and drive resolution of production, availability, and shipment risks
  • Build weekly snapshots of inventory status, open orders, and key risks
  • Resolve incomplete order requests, minimum-order requirements, missing ship-to data, and packaging gaps
  • Maintain documentation and standard work
  • Improve processes to reduce friction, rework, and last-minute issues
  • Support onboarding and training for new team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, production coordination, operations, agriculture, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in supply chain, operations, business, agriculture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience working in an ERP system
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a seasonal, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
  • Power BI experience preferred
  • Experience supporting contract manufacturing partners, production planning, packaging coordination, or raw material readiness
  • Agriculture, crop protection, nutrients, adjuvants, or proprietary product experience
  • Familiarity with manufacturer programs and corresponding purchasing functions
  • Prior supplier, toller, or vendor interaction and relationship management
  • Experience building repeatable process documentation and standard work
  • Selected candidates may be required to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle, physical requirements, and/or FMCSA Clearinghouse checks
