About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform snow removal
- Maintain housekeeping, sanitation schedules, and the general appearance of the assigned work area
- Load and unload products from and to trucks and railcars and carry materials
- Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance and equipment maintenance as required
- Operate a forklift and skid steer
- Assist with plant outages and shutdowns
- Keep work areas clean, orderly, and safe
- Fill in on shift operations jobs as needed
- Assist with all production operations
- Help establish a safety culture with team members
- Approach every task with safety as the first work consideration
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must meet the age requirement
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to push, pull, and physically lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in noisy, dusty, and otherwise undesirable conditions
- Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights up to 120 ft
- Must be able to spend considerable periods on feet, including walking, standing, climbing steps, and climbing ladders
- Must be able to use tools, shovel, and sweep
- May be required to work while squatting, kneeling, or crawling
- Must pass applicable pre-employment screenings if required, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle, physical requirements, and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks
- Must be available for a standard 8-4:30p Monday-Friday training schedule and potentially 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
