About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead field operational activity and associated business processes for planned, reactive and corrective service, maintenance and works within the Portable Fire Extinguisher division
  • Take overall accountability for leading and developing teams to optimise productivity and service delivery and achieve sustained profitable growth
  • Own the customer portfolio and deliverables
  • Proactively meet with customers to nurture relationships
  • Deal with people matters
  • Manage training, development, talent and succession
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety audits
  • Lead a safety-first culture with a target-zero mindset
  • Drive completion of inspections by month due
  • Review engineer performance and productivity
  • Review customer contracts
  • Drive sustainable growth and profitability
  • Support Engineers and meet customers in the field, typically a minimum of 2 days out in the field

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Field Operational Management Experience is essential
  • Experience in the Fire Industry would be advantageous
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and team
  • Solution / results focused
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and multitask effectively
  • Highly organised
  • Planning or scheduling experience would be beneficial but not essential
