About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to Enterprise guests.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service using proper greeting, departure phrases, and service standards.
  • Mix liquor, soda, water, sugar, bitters, and other ingredients to prepare beverages.
  • Operate bar equipment, computerized cash register, and credit card machine.
  • Prepare beverages using correct glasses, measurements, and garnishes.
  • Take orders for beverages and cigarettes.
  • Verify that guests ordering alcohol are of legal drinking age.
  • Place alcoholic beverage orders according to established standards.
  • Collect cash or credit card payments.
  • Follow cash handling procedures for revenue and tips and Loyalty program guidelines.
  • Make change and issue receipts.
  • Order or requisition liquor and supplies.
  • Maintain L.E.A.D. parameters for alcohol service and identify intoxicated guests.
  • Direct Beverage Porters performing barback responsibilities when applicable.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, casino events, and promotions and communicate them to guests.
  • Collaborate with casino Team Members to deliver an outstanding guest and work culture experience.
  • Promote teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, collaboration, and One.Team.Chumash values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to sell or serve distilled spirits; Team Members under 21 but at least 18 years of age may sell or serve beer and wine in non-gaming areas.
  • Must register in the RBS Portal, complete training from an authorized RBS Training Provider, pass the ABC Alcohol Server Certification exam, and obtain a food handlers card within 30 days of employment.
  • Previous experience in bartending, serving, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail drink offerings, and how to prepare and serve them.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet.
  • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
  • Native American hiring preference applies.
