About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible and accountable for Cage/Vault operations during the assigned shift.
- Respond to guest inquiries and concerns.
- Interface with other departments in a positive and professional manner.
- Supervise activity and maintain security and accountability of company funds in the Cage/Vault.
- Assist in training new Team Members.
- Maintain an orderly and positive working environment.
- Participate in Team Member performance evaluations and recommend coaching or disciplinary actions as appropriate.
- Assist in investigating variances.
- Prepare required reports.
- Oversee Title 31 enforcement and reporting activities.
- Recommend changes in Cage/Vault procedures.
- Assist Cage/Vault Cashiers as required.
- Train, mentor, develop, coach, resolve problems, and provide open communication.
- Build a work environment promoting teamwork, collaboration, performance feedback, and Team Member satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Two years of experience in casino Cage/Vault operations preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality and/or sales.
- Ability to successfully pass a basic math assessment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform cash handling operations using units of American money.
- Basic knowledge of business and accounting systems and methods.
- Basic knowledge of applicable law, regulations, rules, procedures, and administration is required.
- Basic proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Office and database applications, e-mail, and Internet.
- Basic proficiency in 10-key and other office equipment.
- Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
- Native American hiring preference applies.
