About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver custom massages and body treatments to Spa guests
- Provide safe, professional, therapeutic touch, flow, pressure, and draping
- Deliver exceptional guest service according to Chumash Casino Resort and Gracious Hospitality standards
- Perform multiple and consecutive sessions during a shift
- Provide multiple body therapies offered in the Spa menu
- Conduct treatments according to treatment guidelines and draping policy
- Assess guests’ physical well-being, injuries, and allergies and accommodate their needs
- Communicate client self-care, educate and sell products, and up-sell services
- Maintain a smooth flow of services for clients booked with multiple therapists
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and team members
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, product knowledge classes, and team efforts
- Maintain inventory levels on products and supplies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Abide by national and state massage therapy regulations and guidelines
- Promote teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, and collaboration
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED Certificate
- Valid CA State or County Massage License
- One additional certification in reflexology, prenatal, or deep-tissue massage is required
- Additional Esthetician license a plus
- Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet
- Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends
- Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency
