About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software
- Translate business requirements into source code and scalable backend systems using Java/Spring Boot
- Integrate backend systems with Generative AI models and LLMs
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including planning, requirements analysis, architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Implement and optimize algorithms, automation processes, and AI-powered coding tools
- Participate in refinement meetings and translate business needs into functional solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and assist with time and resource estimates
- Build data flows using SQL/NoSQL databases and messaging systems
- Ensure quality through automated testing, code reviews, and Clean Code principles
- Work in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes within a CI/CD culture
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex defects in code, data, and production environments
- Document code and technical processes
- Residents of the Campinas metropolitan area are required to work from the company's offices in the city in accordance with the current attendance policy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Based in Brazil
- Experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot
- Knowledge of Generative AI and LLMs
- Participation in all phases of the SDLC
- Knowledge of microservices and design patterns
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using JUnit and Mockito
- Knowledge of Clean Code and code review practices
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of CI/CD
- Ability to investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex defects
- Ability to document code and technical processes
- Willingness to stay up to date with technologies and market trends
