About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, fostering autonomy with accountability, collaboration, and a results-driven mindset
- Work with Product Managers and Designers to define vision, roadmap, and priorities
- Guide the use of Flow platform agents to increase the productivity, quality, and value of solutions
- Promote experimentation through MVPs, proof-of-concepts, A/B tests, and feature flags
- Define success criteria and use results to guide decisions
- Collaborate with architects and technical leaders on architecture evolution, ensuring scalability, security, observability, and reliability
- Champion software engineering best practices, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and automated testing
- Manage and develop people through continuous feedback, one-on-one conversations, development plans, and mentoring
- Support the development of new technical leaders
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and team development
- Define and track engineering and product metrics, such as lead time, deployment frequency, stability, feature adoption, and retention
- Communicate priorities, risks, learnings, and results to technical and business stakeholders
- Participate in discovery with customers and users and contribute to the strategic evolution of the Flow platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience as an Engineering Manager, Engineering Lead, or Tech Lead with people management responsibilities
- Strong background in software development and knowledge of modern architecture
- Experience building or evolving digital products in highly complex or large-scale environments
- Experience working in product teams focused on outcomes for users and the business
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and product and innovation practices, such as Lean Startup, Design Thinking, and Continuous Discovery
- Experience validating hypotheses, conducting experiments, and using data to guide decisions
- Experience defining and tracking OKRs, product metrics, and engineering indicators
- Ability to communicate decisions to diverse audiences and operate in ambiguous environments while balancing speed, quality, and learning
- Knowledge of Python and TypeScript/JavaScript applied to software development, automation, and AI solutions
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as cloud-native architectures, containers, and orchestration
- Knowledge of APIs, integrations, databases, and data processing
- Knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, and orchestration tools, including RAG, embeddings, and prompt engineering
- Knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, security, and automated testing
- Knowledge of product instrumentation, analytics, and dashboards
- Preferred: experience with CI&T Flow or other intelligent-agent ecosystems
- Preferred: experience creating new products, incubating solutions, or working in startup environments
- Preferred: experience modernizing legacy systems with AI and automation
- Preferred: knowledge of MLOps and machine learning pipelines in production
- Preferred: experience at product companies, SaaS companies, or in teams focused on product-led growth
- Preferred: participation in engineering, product, or AI communities
