Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain applications using Java and Angular
Work with Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch
Participate in the development and implementation of technical solutions, taking quality, performance, and scalability into account
Collaborate with Product, Design, Development, and Quality teams
Contribute to the adoption of development best practices and coding standards
Identify and resolve issues while considering the business context
Contribute to the evolution of the data layer using SQL Server
Develop and integrate APIs with synchronous and asynchronous communication
Work on solutions based on microservices and BFF (Backend for Frontend)
Use artificial intelligence tools throughout the development lifecycle to improve productivity and quality
Work in an agile environment using Scrum and/or Kanban practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with Java 17+
Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Batch
Experience with Angular
Knowledge of SQL Server and data manipulation
Knowledge of Git and version control practices
Knowledge of microservices and BFF architecture
Knowledge of API integration and synchronous and asynchronous communication
Knowledge of event-driven architecture concepts
Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
Strong communication skills for interaction with team members and stakeholders
Experience working in agile environments, such as Scrum and/or Kanban
Experience with legacy VB6 applications (a plus/preferred)
Knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) (a plus/preferred)
Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes (a plus/preferred)
Experience with CI/CD and development pipelines (a plus/preferred)
Knowledge of Azure Service Bus, messaging, and events (a plus/preferred)
Knowledge of resilience concepts, failure handling, DLQs, and queue segregation (a plus/preferred)
Knowledge of Hexagonal Architecture (Ports and Adapters) (a plus/preferred)
