About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for analytics and business intelligence
Implement data architectures including data lakes, warehouses, and integration layers
Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and monitoring systems
Develop and maintain integrations between data sources, third-party tools, and analytics platforms
Collaborate with Data & Analytics Managers and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions
Monitor and optimize pipeline performance, query efficiency, and storage costs
Create and maintain technical documentation for data architectures, pipelines, and processes
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
Leverage AI tools and automation to enhance data engineering workflows and productivity

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP)
Proven experience with Databricks
Good level of English B2 or above
Strong experience with data pipeline development, ETL/ELT processes and orchestration
Proficiency with any data warehousing solutions
Experience with SQL and Python
Experience with large scale and distributed data process (PySpark)
Understanding of data modeling and database design principles
Availability to work in the Campinas office 3x per week (Tue, Wed and Thu)
Experience working with international clients (nice to have)
Experience with modern data stack tools such as dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, and Stitch (nice to have)
Experience with streaming data platforms such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, and Kinesis (nice to have)
Databricks Certification (nice to have)
Certifications in cloud platforms or data engineering (nice to have)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and CloudFormation (nice to have)
