About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement, operate, and evolve a scalable, secure, resilient technology platform ready for production environments
- Support the evolution of cloud infrastructure
- Ensure automation, observability, security, availability, and operational efficiency across services
- Work directly with development and architecture teams
- Define and implement platform engineering best practices, CI/CD, resource management, and application scalability
- Manage integrations and dependencies across different teams and with the client
- Support the operation and evolution of an enterprise Artificial Intelligence platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience with Azure, including Service Bus, AKS, Key Vault, and Azure DevOps
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, or similar)
- Experience working with pull request workflows reviewed by another team
- Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, including node pools, Cluster Autoscaler, and KEDA
- Experience with observability, including OpenTelemetry, metrics, alerts, and dashboards
- Knowledge of cloud security, including least privilege, secrets management, and identity management
- Working knowledge of Python to support the backend team and write smoke tests
- Strong communication skills and the autonomy to work within the Platform team and manage dependencies with the client
- Preferred: experience sizing Service Bus tiers (Standard and Premium) and managing cloud costs
- Preferred: experience with scale-to-zero and intermittent workloads on AKS
- Preferred: experience with AI platforms and rate limits imposed by LLM providers
