About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the technical orchestrator for the use of AI and intelligent agents throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Implement and maintain technical and contextual refinement for the agentic execution of tasks through Spec-Driven Development (SDD)
  • Ensure engineering governance and the quality of AI-generated code by defining guardrails and preventing technical hallucinations
  • Explore, structure, and evolve agentic tools such as GitHub Copilot, Skills, MCPs, and context/prompt engineering
  • Promote and guide teams in the application of unit testing, test automation, code audits, and observability
  • Collaborate on defining and evolving backend solution architecture using Java/Spring, microservices, and messaging integrated with AI capabilities
  • Lead technical analyses and align architectural and functional decisions with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Work with a financial services client to transform the software delivery lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong experience in Software Engineering with Java (17+) and the Spring ecosystem (Boot/Cloud)
  • Practical experience applying Artificial Intelligence to software engineering and agent development
  • Proficiency in Spec-Driven Development (SDD), context engineering, and prompt orchestration
  • Experience with GitHub Copilot, Skills, and MCPs
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture, messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and cloud concepts (Azure or AWS)
  • Practical experience with unit testing, code quality, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Jira)
  • Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, an analytical profile, and the ability to work in dynamic environments focused on continuous innovation
  • Based in Brazil
  • Candidates residing in the Campinas Metropolitan Area must be available to work from the company’s offices in the city in accordance with the current attendance policy
  • Nice to have: knowledge of Python, Node.js, or frontend frameworks such as Angular
  • Nice to have: familiarity with event-driven architectures (EDA) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep)
  • Nice to have: experience with context architectures (RAG, local knowledge bases, or specification files such as agents.md)
