About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and enhance components, templates, and Content Fragments in AEM Sites, ensuring marketing teams can edit content independently
- Implement responsive and accessible interfaces from Figma designs, with close attention to visual detail, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first principles
- Optimize web performance and Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP), including lazy loading, image optimization, critical CSS, and JavaScript reduction
- Maintain and expand the squad’s Design System/component library, promoting reuse and visual consistency
- Build backend integrations in AEM, including servlets, Sling Models, workflows, schedulers, and REST API consumption/exposure
- Implement and validate tagging and tracking (Adobe Analytics/GTM/dataLayer) in collaboration with marketing and data teams
- Support campaigns and activations through landing pages, A/B testing, and personalization
- Participate in code reviews, Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Manager) across development, staging, and production environments
- Participate in the squad’s agile lifecycle, including refinement, planning, and daily stand-ups, working with the Product Owner, UX, and marketing teams
- Build digital experiences for the bank’s corporate websites, campaign landing pages, content hubs, and product pages
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and Cloud Manager
- Experience developing AEM components with HTL/Sightly and authoring dialogs (Granite/Coral UI), including Sling Models
- Strong knowledge of the AEM Project Archetype structure and Maven modules (ui.config, core, ui.frontend), with builds using Maven
- Strong command of semantic HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid, SASS/LESS), modern JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
- Proven experience with responsive layouts, cross-browser compatibility, and design fidelity
- Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and technical SEO best practices
- Hands-on experience optimizing performance and Core Web Vitals
- Familiarity with at least one modern framework/library (React or Angular)
- Experience with Git version control and branching/code review workflows
- Hands-on experience with AEM as a Cloud Service, HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, dialogs, editable templates, and Core Components
- Knowledge of Java applied to AEM (OSGi, Sling, JCR)
- Working knowledge of Maven, AEM Archetype, and AEM project structure
- Understanding of author/publish architecture, Dispatcher, and caching
- Experience consuming and creating REST/JSON APIs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate marketing needs into technical solutions
- Autonomy, ownership, and organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns in parallel
- Close collaboration with UX/Design and business teams
