About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and enhance applications using Java on the backend and React on the frontend
  • Build and integrate REST APIs, microservices, BFFs, and integrations with external services
  • Use AI agents throughout the development lifecycle to support specification, development, testing, and deployment
  • Analyze, validate, and adjust code and other outputs generated by Artificial Intelligence tools
  • Create and maintain unit and integration tests
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, contributing to application stability and continuous improvement
  • Participate in refinement sessions, contributing technical analysis, estimates, and solution definition
  • Implement AI-powered automations to increase development productivity and efficiency
  • Collaborate with more senior professionals, sharing knowledge and advancing the team’s agentic development practices
  • Work in a strategic operation within the financial sector, in an Artificial Intelligence-driven development environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience with backend development using Java
  • Experience with frontend development using React and JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, and system integration
  • Experience with unit and integration testing
  • Knowledge of Git, code version control, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with AWS and cloud environments
  • Practical experience applying Generative AI to software development
  • Experience using AI coding tools or AI agents for code generation, analysis, refactoring, or testing
  • Ability to critically analyze and validate AI-generated outputs
  • Knowledge of software development best practices and quality standards
  • Technical English proficiency for reading documentation
  • Must reside in Brazil
  • For residents of the Campinas Metropolitan Region, on-site presence at the company’s offices in the city is mandatory, in accordance with the current attendance policy
  • Preferred: experience with CI&T Flow, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools
  • Preferred: knowledge of Prompt Engineering applied to software development
  • Preferred: familiarity with Agentic SDLC and specialized agents for different stages of development
  • Preferred: knowledge of BFF, API Gateway, or event-driven architectures
  • Preferred: experience with financial systems, payments, or transactional integrations
  • Preferred: knowledge of performance or security testing
