About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the quality of deliverables on the Salesforce platform, from requirements analysis through solution acceptance testing
- Understand business needs and rules, translating requirements into test strategies, scenarios, and criteria
- Plan, design, and execute manual functional, integration, exploratory, and regression tests
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, evidence, and test data sets
- Manage the defect lifecycle, including identification, logging, tracking, and validation of fixes
- Support root cause analyses of incidents and defects, contributing to preventive and corrective actions
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated tests for web applications
- Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks and scripts
- Work closely with Product, Development, and other stakeholders to anticipate risks and continuously improve the squad's quality practices
- Support continuous integration initiatives related to quality and test automation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in software testing, preferably on Salesforce projects or solutions
- Experience developing test strategies, plans, scenarios, and cases
- Experience executing manual functional, integration, exploratory, and regression tests
- Experience managing the defect lifecycle and tracking fixes
- Knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, processes, and best practices
- Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) and tracking corrective actions
- Experience with web test automation and maintaining automated test suites
- Knowledge of Java and Selenium WebDriver or equivalent test automation technologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration processes
- Ability to understand complex business rules and work collaboratively with Product and Development teams
- Strong communication skills, autonomy, accountability, and the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in financial institutions or projects with high regulatory complexity (a plus)
- Salesforce certifications, such as Administrator, Marketing Cloud, or Platform App Builder (a plus)
- Knowledge of APIs and integration testing (a plus)
- Experience with test management tools (a plus)
- Experience with Xray (a plus)
- Knowledge of quality metrics and continuous process improvement (a plus)
