About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect and build software solutions to meet client needs, from architecture through tested code and production deployment
- Use the agentic SDLC and AI as primary drivers of development
- Build, customize, and orchestrate reusable agents, skills, subagents, commands, and harnesses for the team
- Modernize development processes and practices, reducing lead time
- Translate functional requirements into viable, simple, and scalable technical solutions
- Design and evaluate solutions, agents, and skills using evals, testing, and red teaming
- Make token-economy decisions that balance quality and inference cost
- Architect agentic solutions using APIs, RAG, tools, orchestration frameworks, runtimes, system prompts, and guardrails
- Manage context engineering and context-data pipelines, integrating internal sources and vector databases
- Implement observability in application and agent code, and monitor anomalies and degradation
- Review and critically assess AI-generated outputs before delivery
- Delegate specialized tasks to agents and work as a generalist across the development lifecycle
- Deliver production-ready solutions, aligning deployment and operational requirements with the AI Deployment Engineer
- Apply practices related to ethics, privacy, data security, and compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience and deep technical expertise in a specialized technology stack
- Strong command of modern software architecture and engineering fundamentals
- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven systems, queues, CI/CD, TDD, and automation
- Knowledge of agents, skills, subagents, commands, and harnesses
- Experience with foundation models via API, RAG, tool orchestration, evals, and multi-agent solutions
- Knowledge of orchestration frameworks and runtimes, system prompts, and guardrails
- Knowledge of context-data pipelines and vector databases
- Knowledge of system observability and monitoring
- Knowledge of red teaming for hallucinations, prompt injection, and data leakage
- Knowledge of model fine-tuning
- Knowledge of ethics, privacy, data security, and compliance
- Required technologies: Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS
