About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and deploy production-ready applications using LLMs, including GPT, Gemini, Claude, and other foundation models through AWS Bedrock
- Build and optimize RAG architectures processing and retrieving information from large-scale document repositories
- Implement and orchestrate multi-agent AI systems using AWS Bedrock Agents and AgentCore frameworks
- Design scalable AI pipelines integrating with enterprise systems and maintaining production-scale performance
- Develop backend services and APIs for AI applications using Python and modern frameworks
- Implement containerization and deployment strategies for AI applications
- Build monitoring and observability solutions tracking AI system performance, quality, and costs
- Design and optimize prompts and templates guiding LLM behavior and responses
- Apply advanced prompt engineering techniques to maximize model performance and accuracy
- Evaluate and fine-tune models for specific use cases
- Experiment with model configurations, hyperparameters, and architectures
- Partner with vertical areas and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Stay current with generative AI research and evaluate emerging foundation models
- Contribute to technical documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing
- Participate in Sales initiatives related to Generative AI
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, solution architects, and engineers to deliver production-ready AI systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong years of professional software engineering experience
- Backend development experience; full-stack experience is a differential
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and foundation model APIs
- Agentic Architecture & Implementation experience, such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or AutoGen
- Prompt engineering and optimization techniques
- Data consumption for agentic systems with vector databases, such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or OpenSearch, and embedding models or Knowledge Graphs
- Knowledge of DevOps and public cloud practices
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for AI applications is desired
- Knowledge of Python with experience in modern frameworks and libraries
