About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and maintain high-performance software
- Translate business requirements into source code and scalable Java/Spring Boot backend systems
- Integrate Generative AI and LLM solutions throughout the SDLC
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including planning, requirements analysis, architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Design, develop, and maintain resilient backend systems and RESTful APIs
- Implement and optimize algorithms, automation processes, and AI-powered coding tools
- Participate in refinement meetings and translate business needs into functional solutions
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and support time and resource estimates
- Build efficient data flows using SQL/NoSQL databases and messaging systems
- Ensure quality through automated testing, code reviews, and Clean Code principles
- Work in containerized environments following a CI/CD culture
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex defects
- Document code and technical processes
- Stay up to date with technologies and trends to enhance the project
Requirements
What you’ll need- Based in Brazil
- Experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot
- Knowledge of Generative Artificial Intelligence and LLMs
- Knowledge of the SDLC and Agile processes
- Knowledge of microservices and design patterns
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using JUnit and Mockito
- Knowledge of Clean Code and code review practices
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of CI/CD
- Ability to investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex defects in code, data, or production environments
- Ability to document code and technical processes
- Interest in staying up to date with technologies and market trends
