About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and communicate the long-term data architecture vision aligned with business strategy
- Lead evaluation and selection of technologies, frameworks, and standards for data architecture
- Establish and promote data management and governance best practices
- Collaborate with leadership teams and stakeholders to align data architecture with business needs
- Explain complex technical concepts in accessible terms
- Identify and anticipate complex technical challenges and propose innovative solutions
- Provide advanced technical guidance to data development and architecture teams
- Ensure data architecture complies with data security regulations and standards
- Mentor and empower team members, especially newer members
- Participate in defining and executing the organization's data strategy
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with technology partners and suppliers
- Represent data architecture in internal and external technical and strategic forums
- Build reliable, well-engineered data systems using current technology
- Improve data system dependability and cross-team collaboration
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure Cloud Services
- Experience with Snowflake data warehousing
- Experience with DBT for data transformation
- Experience with data modeling, ELT design, and performance tuning
- Advanced English proficiency, spoken and written, to engage directly with international stakeholders
- Proven experience mentoring and guiding technical teams through change
- Snowflake certification (nice to have)
- Experience with data governance and security (nice to have)
