About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Architect and build software and infrastructure solutions for modernization in Azure cloud, from architecture through tested code
  • Lead development in Angular, Node.js, and Spring Boot using an agentic SDLC
  • Remain accountable for the application delivered to production
  • Participate in the strategic mapping of the current environment and guide the to-be architecture with the architect
  • Contribute to the modernization plan for healthcare portals
  • Elicit, document, and refine functional and non-functional requirements with business and technology teams
  • Use Jira, Confluence, and Miro for documentation and collaboration
  • Build, customize, and orchestrate agents, skills, subagents, commands, and harnesses
  • Reuse agents and skills across the team and reduce delivery lead time
  • Apply microservices, event-driven systems, queues, CI/CD, TDD, and automation
  • Translate functional requirements into viable, simple, and scalable technical solutions while avoiding over-engineering
  • Evaluate solutions, agents, and skills through evals, testing, and red teaming
  • Apply Scrum and Kanban agile methodologies, track and document activities, and propose continuous improvements
  • Deliver a solution ready for the AI Deployment Engineer to deploy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud and ARO, including application architecture and deployment
  • Proficiency in modern architectures: microservices, event-driven systems, queues, CI/CD, and TDD
  • Familiarity with documentation and collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence, and Miro
  • Experience with agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with business and technology teams
  • Analytical ability and critical thinking to evaluate and translate demands into solutions
  • Experience with or familiarity with agentic SDLC and the use of AI as a development accelerator (preferred)
  • Experience with Angular, Node.js, and Spring Boot
  • Experience with RAG, tool orchestration, evals, and multi-agent solutions
  • Experience with foundation models via API
  • Experience with automation, testing, and red teaming
