About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure for digital analytics environments
  • Work closely with Martech specialists to ensure robust data ingestion, transformation, and availability
  • Manage platform data, ensuring integrity, availability, and consistency throughout its lifecycle
  • Manage platform technology, keeping the infrastructure up to date, stable, and aligned with business needs
  • Orchestrate ETL processes and automate data flows between source systems and analytics environments
  • Architect event-driven data solutions for real-time data capture and processing
  • Catalog data by documenting sources, definitions, and business rules
  • Implement validations, testing, and continuous monitoring to promote data quality
  • Implement metrics and alerts for observability and the identification of failures and bottlenecks
  • Optimize data infrastructure costs by reviewing resources and architectures
  • Integrate data from different domains to consolidate a unified analytical view
  • Manage solution APIs, ensuring secure and high-performance integrations
  • Evolve the data stack through incremental technological improvements
  • Join AI-focused squads in redesigning digital customer channels for Financial Services and Insurance clients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong back-end programming experience building data pipelines, with proficiency in Python and/or Node.js
  • Advanced SQL skills for manipulating, modeling, and optimizing data at scale
  • Experience architecting NoSQL database solutions and cloud data warehouses, such as BigQuery and Firestore
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Big Data solutions
  • Experience orchestrating data pipelines and ETL processes using tools such as dbt, Airflow, and Dataform
  • Familiarity with data governance and management frameworks, such as DAMA and CRISP
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) in cross-functional teams
  • Cloud certifications (GCP, AWS, or Azure) are a plus
  • Experience working in Agile digital product environments is a plus
  • Previous experience in the Financial Services or Insurance sector is a plus
