About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and enhance business rule and decision management solutions using the FICO platform
- Implement, maintain, and optimize business rules and decision flows, ensuring application performance and reliability
- Develop and maintain integrations with systems and services using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
- Participate in defining technical solutions by evaluating requirements, impacts, and opportunities for architectural improvement
- Implement unit and integration tests
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, contributing to application availability, security, and performance
- Collaborate with Development, Product, and other stakeholder teams to advance solutions and engineering best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience with FICO RMA (Rule Management Application) and developing business rule-based solutions
- Knowledge of SRL (Structured Rules Language) for implementing and maintaining rules on the FICO platform
- Experience with backend development using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
- Knowledge of software architecture, microservices, and systems integration
- Experience with Git, code version control, and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of development best practices, unit testing, and integration testing
- Ability to analyze complex business rules, investigate issues, and propose technical improvements
- Experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams
