About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the design and delivery of software solutions across React, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Build, integrate, and own backend services, APIs, business logic, and data flows
- Lead technical planning, architecture discussions, and solution design
- Lead code reviews and uphold engineering standards
- Own application performance, reliability, accessibility, and maintainability
- Debug and resolve complex production and development issues
- Drive unit, integration, and end-to-end automated testing practices
- Work across third-party integrations, analytics, feature flagging, payment systems, CMS platforms, and cloud environments
- Improve CI/CD and release management
- Mentor less-experienced engineers and partner with QA and engineering teams
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Deep experience building modern frontends in React
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of analyzing complex issues and implementing efficient solutions
- Business acumen, including project and stakeholder management expertise
