About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and enhance components, templates, and Content Fragments in AEM Sites
  • Implement responsive and accessible interfaces based on Figma designs
  • Optimize web performance and Core Web Vitals using lazy loading, image optimization, critical CSS, and JavaScript reduction
  • Maintain and expand the Design System and component library
  • Build backend integrations in AEM, including servlets, Sling Models, workflows, schedulers, and REST APIs
  • Implement and validate tagging and tracking with Adobe Analytics, GTM, and the data layer
  • Support campaigns and activations with landing pages, A/B testing, and personalization
  • Participate in code reviews, Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines through Cloud Manager across development, staging, and production environments
  • Participate in the squad’s agile lifecycle, including refinement, planning, and daily stand-ups, in collaboration with the PO, UX, and marketing teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and Cloud Manager
  • Experience developing AEM components with HTL/Sightly and authoring dialogs (Granite/Coral UI), including Sling Models
  • Proficiency with the AEM Project Archetype and Maven modules (ui.config, core, ui.frontend), with builds managed through Maven
  • Proficiency in semantic HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid, SASS/LESS), modern JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
  • Experience with responsive layouts, cross-browser compatibility, and design fidelity
  • Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and technical SEO
  • Hands-on experience optimizing performance and Core Web Vitals
  • Familiarity with React or Angular
  • Experience with Git version control and branching/code review workflows
  • Knowledge of Java as applied to AEM (OSGi, Sling, JCR)
  • Working knowledge of Maven, the AEM Archetype, and AEM project structure
  • Understanding of author/publish architecture, Dispatcher, and caching
  • Experience consuming and creating REST/JSON APIs
  • Strong communication skills to translate marketing needs into technical solutions
  • Autonomy, ownership, and organization when managing multiple campaigns
  • Close collaboration with UX/Design and business teams
