About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design and implementation of the architecture within the Modernization POD
Integrate applications built with C#/.NET, Java, Node.js, Angular, and React
Apply Artificial Intelligence techniques, including prompt engineering and LLM-assisted code analysis, to optimize modernization efforts
Map business rules and accelerate the team’s delivery
Structure and technically lead the modernization of the data layer
Lead the transition from SQL Server to modern architectures on Databricks
Collaborate with specialists across different technical areas
Promote technological adaptability and mentor the team in engineering best practices
Ensure software performance, scalability, and quality through automated testing and CI/CD
Serve as a technical bridge with Product Managers and international leadership in a 100% English-speaking environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced English proficiency
Mastery of architectural concepts and the advantages and trade-offs of Angular, React, C#, .NET, Java, and Node.js
Proven experience in technology modernization projects, large-scale system refactoring, and distributed architectures (microservices/Serverless)
Strong knowledge of data modeling and relational databases (SQL Server)
Ability to guide the transition to analytics/Big Data platforms (Databricks)
Extensive hands-on experience using AI tools for Software Engineering, such as Copilot and CodeWhisperer
Strong culture of test engineering, code quality, and DevOps
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead through influence
Previous technical leadership experience implementing Databricks, Spark, or Cloud-based Data Lakes (a plus)
Knowledge of Observability (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Datadog) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) (a plus)
