Scale document processing capabilities
Rebuild and enhance the web application based on Design team mockups using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
Develop user-facing features, including PDF grounding views for reviewing and validating information extracted from documents
Design, develop, and maintain versioned APIs using Python and Django REST Framework
Build and maintain integrations between Pegasus, SAP S/4HANA, and Ivalua
Scale asynchronous batch processing with Celery for workloads involving up to 10,000 PDF documents
Use PostgreSQL for application data management and persistence
Implement user metrics to provide application-usage insights and support data-driven improvements
Ensure quality through automated testing, code reviews, documentation, and engineering best practices
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the application, APIs, integrations, and background-processing workflows
Collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong professional experience in full-stack software development
Hands-on experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript
Strong proficiency in Python and experience developing APIs with Django REST Framework
Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, including data modeling and database interactions
Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrating external enterprise systems
Experience with asynchronous task processing and background jobs, particularly Celery
Understanding of scalable application architecture, performance optimization, and reliable data processing
Experience translating design mockups into responsive, user-friendly interfaces
Knowledge of software testing, version control, code reviews, and maintainable coding practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and take ownership of technical solutions
Nice to have: experience integrating with SAP S/4HANA and procurement or enterprise platforms such as Ivalua
Nice to have: experience processing large volumes of documents, particularly PDFs
Nice to have: familiarity with document preview, annotation, grounding, or validation interfaces
Nice to have: experience implementing product analytics, user metrics, and usage tracking
Nice to have: knowledge of cloud-based deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and application observability
Nice to have: experience improving the performance and reliability of distributed processing workflows
