About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, maintain, and scale robust microservices and RESTful APIs using Python
  • Collaborate with the Frontend team to design efficient API contracts for complex workflows, such as chat interfaces, semantic search, and dynamic dashboards
  • Integrate product features using LLM services, including prompt orchestration, text/data generation, and automated workflows
  • Design and integrate databases to support applications, ensuring an appropriate structure for APIs, searches, and RAG
  • Work with the DevOps team to ensure deployment, containerization, and maintenance of infrastructure in the AWS cloud
  • Ensure code quality through best practices, automated testing, and code reviews
  • Join a multidisciplinary agile squad with Frontend, DevOps, and other development specialists
  • Serve as a team reference for integrating intelligent services, AI APIs, and LLMs into the product
  • Build and evolve microservices, APIs, and the data layer for AWS applications

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong experience in Backend development using Python, with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django
  • Hands-on experience building solutions in the AWS cloud, including Lambda, S3, API Gateway, EC2, and RDS
  • Practical knowledge of integrating Artificial Intelligence/LLM APIs, such as OpenAI and Amazon Bedrock
  • Familiarity with orchestration libraries such as LangChain or similar tools
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, focused on efficient persistence and querying for microservices
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams (squads)
  • Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Nice to have: experience developing autonomous workflows, multi-agent systems, and frameworks such as AgentCore, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen
  • Nice to have: knowledge of RAG concepts, semantic search, and vector databases such as OpenSearch, Pinecone, or pgvector
  • Nice to have: experience with Frontend technologies such as React, Vue, Angular, or TypeScript
  • Nice to have: experience with Serverless architectures and infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Nice to have: ability to work across Backend, Frontend, DevOps, and Product
  • Nice to have: product mindset, proactivity, autonomy, and the ability to provide technical leadership on complex deliveries
