About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and evolve backend services in Kotlin (Spring), REST/gRPC APIs, and integrations via Kafka/SQS
  • Build and maintain web interfaces using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
  • Work end to end, from product discovery through production deployment, including code reviews, testing, and monitoring
  • Ensure quality through unit and integration testing, CI/CD, and code coverage
  • Instrument and observe releases with metrics, logs, and tracing
  • Collaborate across squads and conduct code reviews
  • Raise the team's technical bar through mentoring mid-level and junior professionals
  • Evolve the architecture toward resilient, secure, and future-ready solutions
  • Use Artificial Intelligence to optimize the development lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience as a senior full-stack developer
  • Strong command of Kotlin (or Java with a strong willingness to transition to Kotlin), APIs, modeling, and sound architectural practices (Clean/Hexagonal Architecture, DDD)
  • Experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript, including SSR/SSG, data fetching, styling, and accessibility
  • Experience with AWS (or an equivalent platform), containers, and CI/CD
  • Proficiency in automated testing and a strong quality culture
