About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and enhance applications using Java on the backend and React on the frontend
Build and integrate microservices, REST APIs, BFFs, and integrations with external systems
Use and orchestrate AI agents throughout the specification, development, testing, and deployment stages
Review, validate, and enhance code and artifacts produced by AI agents, ensuring quality, security, and compliance with technical standards
Participate in refinement sessions, contributing to solution definition, estimates, and the identification of technical risks
Implement and enhance automated unit, integration, regression, and performance tests
Investigate and resolve complex issues related to code, integrations, data, or environments
Implement AI-powered automations to increase productivity, quality, and efficiency throughout the development lifecycle
Collaborate with technical leadership to evolve development practices and the Agentic SDLC model

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience in backend development using Java and microservices architecture
Experience in frontend development using React and JavaScript or TypeScript
Experience with REST APIs, BFFs, system integration, and distributed architectures
Experience with AWS and application development in cloud environments
Strong knowledge of automated testing, including unit and integration testing
Experience with Git, CI/CD, and continuous delivery practices
Hands-on experience with Generative AI and AI agents applied to software development
Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, CI&T Flow, or similar tools
Knowledge of Prompt Engineering applied to code generation, testing, analysis, and documentation
Ability to critically review AI-generated outputs, identifying architectural, security, performance, and quality issues
Autonomy in investigating and solving complex technical problems
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate on and influence technical decisions
Technical English for documentation and interaction with AI tools and agents
Preferred: experience with Agentic SDLC, the financial sector, event-driven architectures, API gateways, legacy system modernization, cloud migration, and application security
